It's been awhile since the workshop, but we should continue our discussions about some hot measurement issues, such as: the use of page-views in light of Ajax programming, and the use of unique visitors in light of cookie deleting.
On April 16 (07) comScore (U.S.) released a study analyzing the validity of using cookie-based data to measure the number of unique visitors going to an individual Web site, or served an ad by an ad server. http://www.comscore.com/press/pr.asp
In the same week, the U.S. Interactive Advertising Bureau issued a challenge to Nielsen NetRatings and comScore to submit to third party audits in order to establish the source of discrepancies between the two services and site server-log measurements. http://www.iab.net/
